WHAT WE’RE DOING:
We’ve been working hard to create a one-of-a-kind destination shop, focusing upon high-quality, high-style, high-durability bikes. What sets SYKLO apart is our highly unusual inventory of bikes, and the exacting standards we set in the restoration/repair work we do. The time, materials, and careful attention each bike receives is reflected in the used cycle stock we sell. SYKLO specializes in the repair and restoration of english 3-speed and collector-quality british cycles. We also enjoy working on, and have on hand, a number of classic Schwinn and vintage lightweight cycles. For those of you who ride a modern era cycle…. not to worry. We are well-equipped to do repairs and replacements on most makes and models— although you do run the risk of having to hear vintage bike talk and such.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND UPON ARRIVAL:
Pay us a visit and you will find a small repair workshop jammed with old bikes, accessories and miscellaneous classic bike stuff. Most of the bikes are tuned and ready to ride away, others are in various stages of restoration. Most of the time, most days, we’re tearing apart bikes and cleaning parts (or trying to remember how they go back together). Some of the time we’re drinking tea and eating scones. Other times, we’re arguing over who gets the first test ride. Get the picture yet? The atmosphere, to say the least, is informal and low-key around here. Downstairs are good old bikes of all types-some authentic, some updated- all classic. Upstairs are the British bikes. If you can negotiate the steep stairs, this is the place to have a seat and reflect upon an earlier time of wool-tweed, leather and well-built bicycles.
We have all the essentials to keep your vintage bike or English 3-speed rolling smoothly -plus a few non-essential items you simply must have. We stock classic lines of parts and accessories from makers such as:

and, of course, our flagship bicycle brands Raleigh, Rudge and Humber.

Don’t forget we are a dealer of SURLY bikes and parts. And…. as far as we know, the only shop around with SURLY Cross-Check complete bikes in stock, ready to ride, in several sizes and colors. We also stock Cross-check frames for the do-it-yourself folks. We feel that this particular model is the best all-around new bike value for the dollar.

We offer basic bicycle repair & maintenance tutorials custom fit to your time, your bike or your interests. Also, repair stand/shop time available by reservation at reasonable rates. Inquire for details and scheduling.
Stay in touch. You won’t want to miss the Spring and Fall decade rides. These are vintage bike group-rides about nothing more than getting out into the countryside and having a good time on old bikes.
Coming soon….. we expect to carry a few very unique lines of NEW bicycles (not a typo error, the word was NEW) seldom seen in these parts. Well-built with very traditional styling. Enough said until it really happens. We’ll post news and updates from time to time.

Buy, sell, service or stock parts for cheap, mass merchant bikes such as HUFFY and the like. These bikes do not meet our standards for quality or durability. So far, we have not found a way to fit this sector into our scheme of things.
